Alex, I totally missed the blackbird when looking at it from the road side-only when I walked under the wire around facing the birds was I able to pick it out.I'm guessing you may have tried checking the birds from both sides too .
The python was there on Tuesday morning.It looked like the tail end was starting to puff up but it still looked pretty fresh.I was tempted to yank on it to see if it was a whole snake but decided I didn't want to smell like roadkill (or mower meat?)while shopping for a turkey!
