While picking up my son at school yesterday, I got to see this light morph Short-tailed Hawk sitting on a telephone pole. I stopped and took this picture with my cell phone through my binoculars. The hawk was eating a European Starling, better than a native species!
Cutler Wetlands had three Franklin's Gulls this morning, the Tropical Kingbird was on the barbwire fence along the dirt road going to Dump Marsh.
