Today morning and afternoon I've been seeing the ed-whiskered bulbul really close. I saw it 5 feet from me. It was close to its chick. They've been flying all over my backyard. Their awesome birds.
In the afternoon I went to Matheson Hammock. I wasen't hoping for a lifer to appear. I saw the same bird as usual like the common moorhen, green heron, blue jay, cardinal, fish crow, etc. But something really caught my eye. It was a rock dove but COMPLETELY white. It was spotted at the begging of the hammock. It was at the end of the pathway at the end of the lake. Are these birds escapes? If anyone has any info on this I would like to know it. Thankyou. Great birding!
