Yamato Scrub Natural Area opened to the public after the publication of my book. Here are directions: From I-95, exit at Yamato Road and drive west about 1/2 mile to Congress Avenue, then north about 1/2 mile to Clint Moore Road. Turn right and drive east for about 1/4 mi to the open crossover for Yamato Scrub, which is on the north side of road.
