The C111 Canal crosses CR 9336 (the road to Everglades National Park) about one mile east of the national park entrance. Just beyond the canal, on the south side of CR 9336, is the parking area for the South Dade Greenway. Park here and walk through the gate at the south end of the parking area, near the canal. Sparrows can be found in the grassy and brushy areas just beyond the gate.
