We paddled out early Sunday morning to Christian Point, saw 10 Flamingos, 65 Roseate Spoonbills, Hundreds of Snowy Egrets, and thousands of Willets. The Willets were making quite a racket! We had the place to ourselves until 9:30, when a few fishermen showed up. It truly was a birding spectacle. Also found a dead croc in the road, just after Rowdy Bend. Called the rangers and they said they were coming to get it.
