Mrs. Jetty, Bam-Bam Jetty and I went to check out the two Tropical Kingbirds this afternoon with hopes of finding the possible Ash-throated Flycatcher, a county bird for me. No Ash-throated, but the two Tropicals and one Western were hanging out together. At times, they were all perched side-by-side on the power lines, keeping a Loggerhead Shrike in check. Bam-Bam imitated daddy by looking through the binoculars and spotting scope.
If we all think Cassin's Kingbird, it will happen...maybe even a calling Couch's.
Cheers,
El Generalissimo Jetty
