Had to drop Jackie at Ft Lauderdale airport at 5 am this morning so I headed to Green Cay. Green Cay was slow with about ten Black Bellied Whisling Ducks and two Common Moorhens fighting for about five minutes as the highlites. From about 9 to 12, I watched the adult and two baby Least Grebes at Boca. Mom did catch one frog and two large tadpoles and fed the now teenagers, almost the size of mom. No sign of dad and I think the second breeding was unsuccessful. At three pm went to see the two Tropical Kingbirds and they were still at the same spot at five when I left. Thanks to Larry and Lee for their postings on the Grebes and Kingbird. In honor of Paul B.(since beer is not my cup of tea) I celebrated tne day with a good dinner at Sonny's. Life is good!
