I saw and photographed two Swamp Sparrows in the West Miramar ESL yesterday morning. There were also many Savannah Sparrows. Am quite sure I saw three Grasshopper Sparrows-- paler little jobs that flew into the grass clumps rather than "up and away" as do the Savannahs, but never was able to put a glass on them. In past years I only saw them after the beginning of December.
