The information on how to get there is on the T.A.S. "Birding Sites" section. It can tell you how to get there at the bottom of the page in the Everglades section. It will not be good for birds this time of year. Try fall and winter. It may have flickers, ground doves and sandhill cranes, but there are no guarantees. I would try later in the year. You can get the cranes guaranteed in central Florida, the ground doves and fickers in numurous other places in South Florida. Later in the year, the winter birds will be present. Earlier there were Chats and Least Flycatchers there, but not anymore. Good luck. I would reccomend one of Larry Manfredi's Pelagic trips for sea bird for birding this summer. Look up his web site at http://www.southfloridabirding.com/index.htm
Look for the add about his pelagic trips. A hundred dollars for a bunch of hard to find sea birds, which, without professional help, would be hard for us young guys to i.d. by ourselves.
