Late this afternoon, the Bell's Vireo was relocated at Sugden Regional Park in Naples, Collier County by Alan Murray and I. Alan first found this bird on November 3rd. It can be found about 150 feet past the first overlook/fishing pier (on your left) as one goes counterclockwise around the paved path behind the grandstand/bleachers on Lake Avalon. Watch for the bird in the area where a second unpaved path joins up with the main paved path. This is the area that the bird seems to favor. It can be quite hidden in the thickest vegetation/scrub and doesn't readily respond to pishing. The use of tapes to attract the bird should be done cautiously and for as briefly as possible.
