This summer I'm going to Chile. In summer Chile is really, really cold. The migrants have left couple months ago. I hope I get some new lifers. I've always seen many birds in Chile but never put it in my bird book. I'm going to go to the mountains where the birds are almost free from poachers. I wish to ID a Peregrine Falcon there. I got 2 boy cousins that also like birding there especially Patricio. He has had Austral Kestrals, Eared doves and many more. He had them for a while but then he freed them to the wildlife. They help me a lot to spot the birds. Also I'm going to forests , coasts, and lakes.
O yeah, I'm going to go fishing again on Saturday. I hope I can find some neat birds.
In my backyard everything is normal like very other summer. No warblers at all. They've all gone North. We still have the handsome Blue Jay and the colorful cardinals. Can't wait till winter. Great birding
