It was nice to see you again Vince.
I stopped and asked the guys with the swamp buggy what they were doing and was told that they were clearing vegetation which explains the truck packed full of herbicide boxes that was nearby.
They were aware of the Flamingo and said that they would not be disturbing the birds.
The idea of big vehicles and poison at Cutler Wetlands just makes me uncomfortable!
On a better note, the Swainsons hawks , all four of them, are still at Lucky Hammock/sparrow field.The field was also loaded with sparrows this morning.
Also there was a lone scissortail flycatcher and western kingbird duo at 217th ave and 320th St this morning.
