The Coontie is probably planted. (I planted 30 of the 50 at Loxahatchee NWR - pats self on back) I am not sure what Barbados Cherry looks like, but I will google and find out. Yesterday I saw Cassius Blue Butterflies (not necessarily a good thing - isn't their plant the Brazillian Pepper?), a Gulf Frutillary, and (new to me, I think it is a) Longtail skipper.
The mourning doves were camping out in the island part of the parking lot. Is the dead tree you are referring to, the one the Ospreys had nested in?
