Below is an e-mail from the Mayor of Cutler Bay. The Mayor is very proactive in trying to help SFWMD purchace the tequesta coast properties and ensure the southern end of the system does not get lost with no funding. We should try to help the mayor anyway we can. If you have photos you are willing to let Tropical and the Mayor use for the purpouse of protecting land in Cutler please forward them to me, tropicalaudubon@gmail.com

Laura- I'm hoping to help protect the wetlands in Cutler Bay and would like to partner with Tropical Audubon. To do that, i want to create a video/slideshow of the wildlife that has been spotted there. I believe your members have taken some amazing photos (especially the flamingo!) and would like to see if I could get some from you and your members. I am also considering a video holiday card for email distribution and would like to use it for that as well. Both projects are intended to educate people about what's going on and create more appreciation for those projects. I would appreciate any support you and your members can provide.
