The Painted Buntings returned to my yard this past Sunday here in Davie. They appear annually and will remain in yard and the neighborhood until April when they head north. In past years, I have large numbers of them with as many as nine on or around a feeder at one time. I have three feeders and they dine at all of them when the other birds are not there.
