Screech owls sighted at dusk at Hoechoka Hammock. Now for sure a pair. And they were bounced by the red-bellied woodpeck from their house. Same red-bellied that was rained-out of his hollow cabbage plam. A regular case of musical chairs going on here. Neither the grey squirrel, the red-bellied woodpeck nor the screech owl are roosting/sleeping/nesting/birthing where they started the first week of May.
