It is a tough call, since you didn't see any other markings either on the head or breast. The Dickcissel has distinctive head markings that would help identify. I was out there today and saw 2 different color patterns of Indigo Buntings. One was the cinnamon colored female with an orange-tan breast and the other was more brown with faint streaking in the breast. Both birds were observed perched on "bending Grass"
