I live in Cutler Bay in southern Miami-Dade and this is the first time I've seen a House Finch in my yard. I worked for 5 years in Ft. Lauderdale across from the Galleria Mall on East Sunrise Blvd. and 25 Ave. and would regularly see House Finches in the parking area. The parking was located along the next road north to and parralel to Sunrise. There were both red and yellow variants.
