I was at the IRC fund raiser this morning at the Doc Thomas House and to my surprise there was David ball. David is an ex TAS board member, program chair and fellow birder who moved to Oregon with wife Lee & daughter Catherine.
We enjoyed many a bird walk, bird count, and van trip with David and his name comes up often when we reminisce about the old days.
David told me that he reinstated his TAS membership as to not miss out on the possibility of TAS trips like the Great parks trip this past summer. There is no doubt we miss David but I hope we will see him again in the near future whether he joins us on a TAS walk here or joins us on the new trips out of South Florida.
