What I'll never understand in a million years are euphemisms like "harvest", "cull" and "take" when it comes to the capturing and killing of animals. "Harvesting" refers to crops like corn or soy beans. Maybe the use of these words helps to alleviate the moral "guilt" innately associated with the activity, I don't know. Humans are strange animals indeed.
