It is very difficult for the general public (us) to be informed on the details of important conservation issues, particularly when these details are not made readily accessible to us.
You should never apologize for your passion for conservation, for making an attempt to instigate interest, for voicing your opinion against the general trend of apathy regarding "involvement" - regardless of the issue. Right and wrong are matters of perspective, and of the heart.
We learn as we go. Humility makes better men. I don't know the contents of your original posts regarding this matter, but your voice has come through as that of a concerned citizen, and that voice is generally missing from our community. Your efforts were noble.
