Yesterday and today I visited the Lucky Hammock/annex area and saw two Western Kingbirds sitting on the lines above the entrance to the Annex area. Today, David and I saw them again and the Scissor-tail Kingbird was on the line before entering the Lucky Hammock area. We saw the Gray Kingbird and David saw the Eastern also. The day today was very cloudy and the wind picked up so the conditions weren't always the best, but we saw at least 15 Sandhill Cranes, many Kestrels and both Male and Female Northern Harriers. There were Catbirds galore and the more common warblers. A couple of Empidonax were spotted by David. Yesterday I believe I probably saw the Broad-winged Hawk that was seen by the TAS group this past week-end. That is all for now.
