I went to Kendall Indian Hammock and did get to bird for a couple hours there this morning, although I still did not bird about 40% of the park:
Red-eyed Vireo (2)
Yellow-throated Vireo (late? it was curious and flew down low)
Gray Catbird (2)
Veery
House Wren
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher (8)
Tennessee Warbler (8) (everywhere!)
Nashville Warbler (north side of the main entrance road on the east side of the park)
Northern Parula (5)
Black-throated Blue Warbler (8)
Black-throated Green Warbler (2) (including one gorgeous male)
Yellow-throated Warbler (2)
Cape May Warbler
Prairie Warbler (2)
Palm Warbler (10)
Black-and-white Warbler (2)
Common Yellowthroat (3)
Ovenbird
Indigo Bunting (3) (at the end of the main Nature Trail in the clearing)
Painted Bunting (4) (1 male, 3 females, in the grassy dome)
"Rose-breasted Grosbeak"
Not a single American Redstart seen! No Magnolia Warblers, either.
