When I first went to the Cooper's Hawk nest, it was empty and destroyed. I was sad, and looked for remains anywhere. Then a samll screech came from the neighboring tree. The juvenile hawk can now fly, but still not that well. He can live on his own, and trys his skills on the anole lizards, with some luck. The parents were aroung too, chasing mourning doves. Also present were Royal Terns, Red Masked Parakeets, Orange-winged Parrots, Martins, Swifts, Y.C. Night Heron and Green Heron. I also saw my first Biscayne Boulavard Common Mynas on the 4-way to 79th street.
