After the inspiration of the Nashville and Golden-winged Warblers at Kendall Indian Hammocks, I tried again this open Live Oak Park in central Hollywood. It is located just west of 441 on Sheridan Street on the north side. It can mixed results but I am forever hopeful especially because it is on the way home and has stuff for the kids to do while I bird. I have also had Eastern Screech Owl and Cooper's Hawk in the past. Well on 10/8/08, a nice mixed flock of a Red-eyed & Yellow-throated Vireo and warblers:
Prairie
Palm
Northern Parula
Black & white
American Redstart
Yellow-throated
Blackburian
