Seen in a parking lot in Downtown Miami. I heard it as I was getting in my car then saw it fly across the parking lot into a small oak. I grabbed the binocs and walked to within 15 feet of it. Last fall I had a Yellow-billed Cuckoo not far from here, and a Baltimore Oriole in the same parking lot. Even in the concrete jungle nature still makes a much appreciated appearance. Not sign today of the many Gray Kingbirds that spent all summer in this parking lot, so they may have left south.
