Jeannette Rawls located the Golden-winged warbler at 1:25 this afternoon in the same area she saw it in yesterday. I pulled in to the park just 5 minutes later and we both were able to see it. After continuing to bird the area further we saw the Golden-winged again two more times, the last being just before 3:00 p.m.
It seems to be hanging out in the same area of the park right now. When you enter Indian Hammocks off of 117th ave. (the west entrance) there's the small parking area on the right side. This road curves around to the back of the park. The trees along the curve and east of the curve (on the right side of the road) are where the bird is being seen. Thanks again to Jeannette for an exciting life bird!!
