I am pretty sure the gull has left by now, and there have been no reports of it. I have never been in that Key before, but there is a park I think called Indiginous Park that is good for vireos, and has had a Thick-billed Vireo, which is a good Carribean race to find. Look for shorebirds that stay behind every summer on the beaches. If you can, find the time to scope offshore for late pomarine jaegers, and some terns. It is way better to go out on a boat. I think there are resident Blue-crowned Parakeets there, too. Oh yeah. There is a college that I think is called Florida Keys Community College on
Stock Island on north Key West that I read one day. At dusk, check the area for ANTILLEAN Nighthawks, which I hear are pretty common there.
There are common nighthawks too, so i.d. them well. Good luck.
