The thing I dislike about the NAMC (and I used to be the compiler for Collier County for several years), is that no one seems to know what is done with this data. I mean, are the results for all of the NAMCs throughout the country posted anywhere? Where is the data for Florida posted? I religiously would send in the info to the state compiler and never get a reply. Is this just an excuse to go birding, not that that's totally bad? Finding anyone to take part in either the spring or fall NAMC over here in Collier County was like pulling teeth. I finally got pretty disgusted and stopped doing it for the above reasons. No NAMC for Collier County has taken place since to my knowledge.
