After this morning's birds, I started thinking that maybe a Summer Tanager wouldn't be too impossible. I stopped at Sadowski around 5:30 since in that past it's been fairly reliable for Summer Tanager and it's also close to home. I got a few good birds, including a Hooded Warbler, more thrushes, Baltimore Orioles, another Scarlet Tanager, Roae-breasted Grosbeak, and a Summer Tanager! The trifecta was complete. Here are the highlights seen before and after a full day of work:

Western Tanager (yard bird)
Scarlet Tanager (3)
Summer Tanager
Swainson's Thrush (~20)
Gray-cheeked Thrush (2)
Baltimore Oriole (2)
Rose-breasted Grosbeak
Great-crested Flycatcher
Gray Kingbird
Peregrine Falcon (3)
Ruby-throated Hummingbird (~8)
11 species of Warbler, with best being Hooded, Tennessee, and Cape May.

A Great Divide Oak Aged Yeti Imperial Stout will be the celebratory libation tonight!

Cheers!
