As reported by Wil Domke, one egg has hatched. We went out to check around noon in the heavy rain and met Carl Edwards and a gentleman from Orlando who informed us of the hatching. While we were there, Lee Lietzke appeared. He is the site director for Yamato Scrub which was very fortituous, as we expressed our concern for protecting the nesting site area. He assured us that he will take some appropriate measures for marking the area. News that the eggs are hatching will probably relieve some of the urgency.
