The Tropical Audubon sponsored Greynolds Park Bird Walk on Saturday, September 27, 2008, attracted 14 participants who had a great time walking the woodland trails of the park as well around the former bird rookery lake. Forty-seven (47)species of birds were observed by the group of which were 14 species of warblers, (including an early Orange-crowned warbler),and 3 species of vireos (Red-eyed, White-eyed, and Yellow-throated vireos). One of the highlights of the tour was the observation of three (3) Swainsons Thrush in the same location. Thanks to everyone that came out on the walk - see you in April 2009 for spring migrants in the park.
