Another day of pressure cleaning, but it does give me the chance to bird my yard. Which was good, because a metallic-sounding chip from the yard alerted me to a gorgeous female HOODED WARBLER, yard bird #120 and also my yard's 20th warbler species. Also seen were Redstart, Parula, Prairie, and Common Yellowthroat, last weekend's Yellow-throated Vireo still hanging around, my FOTS Am Kestrel back for the winter, and a Common Nighthawk at dusk. Celebratory libation? Shipyard Pumpkinhead ale ('tis the season...)
