The latest I have seen one in Miami-Dade was Dec 15, 1999 (Research Road), but Brennan Mulrooney reported one at Black Point on Dec. 27 2003. Those are the only recent December reports from Miami-Dade (but not Florida). I have not seen any during January or February, but there are a couple of recent January reports from elsewhere in Florida. There are some older February reports, one from 1889.
The latest report I've seen from Collier was by Doug Suitor at Everglades City, Dec 12, 2002.
