Awesome to hear that someone else is checking our new spot. Last week in that second field we spotted four Sparrows in the distance but unfortunately with no scope on hand we did not even attempt to id any of them. There was also a Lesser Black-backed Gull that day as well as some Killdeer, Least and Semipalmated Sandpiper along with some Lesser and Greater Yellowlegs.
Congratulations on your lifer Stephen. Lark Sparrows really are amazing to see! Bird on!
