My choice was to work on the ironing basket or to run to Bill Baggs for 45 minutes late today. Birds seen while not ironing: 11 warbler species in 30 minutes, Indigo Bunting, Merlin (clutching a snack), and at least 3 Sharp-shinned Hawks. While there was not the variety as was at Barnes this morning (14 warbler species and Black-whiskered Vireo), Baggs made up for it in quantity. American Redstarts, Black-throated Blue and Cape May Warblers were numerous. The amount of Blackpoll Warblers was very significant.

A lot of area to cover and very little time - there were probably other good birds present. Many thanks to Carl Regan for emailing me this afternoon with info on Baggs.
