My yard, at least, had a fallout on Sunday morning! Noticing a lot of activity, I walked out and saw redstarts flitting around -a total of 8 that I counted. I also saw 2 N. Parulas, plus a Cape May, Worm-eating, and Yellow-throated Warbler. There was also a Yellow-throated Vireo, a yard first (and yard bird #119).

Later in the afternoon, sitting on the patio with my dad, he remarked on how amazing it was that birds could perch on the very tops of trees "like those two over there". Turning around, on a tree by the canal, they were clearly not the expected shrike or mockingbird. Grabbing the bins, I looked and saw 2 FOTS Blue Grosbeaks! That's now 3 years in a row I've had them during fall migration....just sorry they weren't here yesterday for NAMC.
