Hi folks,
I've already bugged a few of you, but I'll take all the help I can get. I'm a former Miami resident, who was not a birder for the 45 years my parents had our home in the Gables..... ... Anyway, I'm coming to Miami Wed. for the day before a birding trip to Trinidad and Tobago. We would love to find the R.W. Bulbul, Spot-breasted Oriole, and Hill Myna. I have Pranty's and Rapoza's books, have read all through the past year's worth of posts on this board, and feel pretty-well armed with info. But, I'd love to know if there have been any RECENT sightings of the Bulbul and Oriole. I see the west side of Matheson has been quite reliable for the Mynas, so we'll definitely head there. Any specifics you can add...what type of trees, ground, middle or top story, wires, time of day most likely seen, etc. would be quite helpful. I'm sure you all are so tired of getting these inquiries about these birds, but you know the locals always know EXACTLY where to find them!....so....THANKS!
Susan
