Two Flamingoes were sighted up along the eastern shoreline of Snake Bight in ENP via canoe/kayak by myself & two co-workers this morning. One adult (color was more orange than pink) and one juvenile feeding together. We went out to Snake Bight on a falling tide and the flats were full of birds such as numerous Roseate Spoonbills, Great & Snowy Egrets, W. Ibis, a few Gr.White Herons, several Reddish Egrets, only two White Pelicans so far, Willets, Semi-palmated Plovers, Least Sandpipers, Dunlins and more. It was a beautiful morning on Florida Bay!
