I caught a stunning 6' foot Indigo Snake in 1982.
I was exiting the FLorida Turnpike at Glades Road and it shot accross the raod into the large grassy area to the west. I pulled over and walked up to it and it was as tame and stunning as you could imagine.
I kept it for two weeks but when I could not get it to eat I released it back into the woods.
It was/has been the only Indgo I have ever seen in the wild.
