I skipped work today (its nice to have the freedom to do that) and spent the morning at A.D. Barnes. Spotted were:
Ovenbird (4)
Black and white warbler (9-10)
Northern parula (3-4)
Yellow-throated warbler (1)
Black-throated blue warbler (2m, 1f)
Worm eating warbler (3)
Prairie warbler (5-6)
Red eyed vireo (1)
Summer tanager (1)
I thought I saw a Swainson's warbler but it turned out to be a female black-throated blue pretending to be a Swainson's.
I also got a good look at the local Cooper's hawk, which was perched in the pineland area.
