Siz birders participated in today's walk which included stops at Sadowski, the closed road near Deering Estate, Cutler Wetlands, and the Flow-way near Cutler Wetlands. Our biggest highlight was that we had no highlights. Birds were hard to find and we only managed 6 warbler species, but we had just enough birds to keep things interesting plus great company. Thanks for joining us guys! Below is the list of the almost highlights:

Black-bellied Whistling Duck (7 at the Flow-way)
Mottled Duck
Northern Shoveler
Blue-winged Teal
Solitary Sandpiper (3 at Cutler Wetlands)
Greater Yellowlegs
Lesser Yellowlegs
Short-billed Dowitcher
Ruby-throated Hummingbird
Great-crested Flycatcher
Eastern Kingbird (nice flock at Sadowski)
Gray Kingbird
Yellow-throated Vireo (several singing along Deering)
Red-eyed Vireo
Tree Swallow (FOTS for me)
Bank Swallow
Barn Swallow
Northern Parula
Prairie Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Ovenbird
Common Yellowthroat
Bobolink (4 in flight over Sadowski)
