I wasn't goint to make a stop, but decided at the last minute to turn into the parking lot on the west side of Matheson (apologies to the car behind me). I met Carlos Shanchez right as I got there and within minutes we saw the Kentucky near the first puddles. After Carlos left I went further down the trail and found the Kentucky again, this time calling and giving me great looks. Quite a bit of warbler activity in the area.
