Winds forecast to be Northeast 25 kts with 40 kt gusts Wednesday night. They are expected to come out of the North on Thursday, but if they are still out of the Northeast in the morning there is a chance some pelagics may blown in during the night will be around. If anyone can go to the coast, it may be worthwhile.

I checked Crandon beach late yesterday and found no pelagics or anything unusual, but a basic plumage Red Knot was a nice find. Birds seen included:

Piping Plover (13)
Wilson's Plover
Semipalmated Plover (many)
Black-bellied Plover (dozen)
Red Knot
Sanderling (many)
Ruddy Turnstone

Great Black-backed Gull (2)
Lesser Black-backed Gull (honestly, I didn't count; many)
Sandwich Tern (few)
Royal Tern (a bunch)
Sabine's Gull (0)
Black-legged Kittiwake (0)
Ross's Gull (0)
Iceland Gull (0)
Northern Fulmar (0, what a surprise)
