We were at the Cape earlier today searching for some target birds. Some of the usual birds were seen such as Common Ground-Doves, Cardinals, Mockingbirds and White Ibis. It is always nice to see Gray Kingbirds flycatching. We heard a Kentucky Warbler calling chup chup and soon after we located it. Awesome bird to see but as soon as it spotted us it flew in the opposite direction. We did hear it again but could not relocate it. Best bird of the day by far.

Also spotted the following birds:

Kentucky Warbler
Hooded Warbler
Swainson's Warbler
White Ibis
Laughing Gull
Common Ground-Dove
Yellow-billed Cuckoo
Gray Kingbird
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher
Northern Mockingbird
Northern Parula
Yellow-throated Warbler
Black-and-white Warbler
American Redstart
Worm-eating Warbler
Ovenbird
Northern Cardinal

Nature is Awesome
