About two weeks, ago my sharp-eyed wife said "there is that bird with the yellow". I got up to look but the bird flew and I never saw it. I said it must be a Dickcissel if it had yellow on the underside. I have looked several days for the bird but I never saw it until two days ago. It is pretty hard to pick out of a flock of three to four dozen House Sparrows that it hangs out with. I saw it again today and was able to take a photo. This is a different bird then the one we had over the winter. I hope this one stays the winter, perhaps the other one will come back? The bird we had over the winter was a male, that was pretty much in full breeding plumage by spring. The current bird is an immature.

If anyone would like to try and see the bird, e-mail me.
