A single Swainson's Warbler was seen at 9:15 AM, at Matheson Hammock West of Old Cutler, 50 yards into the north hammock trail.
Swainson's were seen at the same spot last year (see 9-11-07).
Many ovenbirds were at that site.
Additionally, most of the same birds reported from Matheson yesterday were there today, with an apparent influx of Red-eyed Vireos (YBVI and BWVI were also there), and a few Chuck-will's Widows.
Only 1 female-type Hooded Warbler was seen.
Maybe Trey picked up something else...
