I saw a coyote loping along the west side of I-75, about a mile south of Griffin Rd, about 11am. I pulled over - i had my cel camera with me - about 250 yards ahead of him. He immediately turned toward the highway - seeking an escape route, I'm sure - thought better of it, and turned back to disappear into the rather thick plantings along the fence. There are houses (Hawkes Bluff) on the other side of the fence there. I waited about 10 minutes, but did not see him again. I did not get a photo.
