26 Swallow-tailed Kites in W Boca

Hello everyone,

Today while I was waiting to pick up my son from school a beautiful kettle of Swallow-tailed Kites flew soared in the area for a few minutes, then headed in an Easterly direction. Initially there were about 18, but then more trickled in for a last count of 26.

It was quite a sight to watch them find a thermal and circle each other, then they would disband and glide to another thermal to circle again.

The location was SW 8th street, and the time was 1:50pm.
